
Finbarr Chidi, Odo is a Senior Lecturer of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Nigeria. He earned his PhD in astrophysics/cosmology from University of Nigeria in 2012. His main research focuses on development of theories of evolution of active galactic nuclei. Between 2008 and 2016, Finbarr worked as a Research Fellow at the National Centre for Energy Research and Development, Nsukka, Nigeria, where he worked on meteorological data modeling for wind energy applications. He also taught Physics at the Federal College of Technical Education in Nigeria from 2006 to 2008. He is a team member of West African International Summer School for Young Astronomers. Recently, Finbarr has developed great interest in studying indigenous knowledge of astronomy in Africa.
